Welcome! To Dr. Frankenstein’s basement!
You are one of his discarded experiments: a shredded, severed, bloody something-or-other, cursed with a very inconvenient spark of life.
Pulling yourself together, literally, you find an arm… a leg… a head… whatever fits. You crawl your way up the mountain of discarded limbs, encountering other wretches like yourself along the way. Through combat you grow stronger, you loot new limbs from those you beat, you begin to find yourself – to create yourself, to assemble your true final form.
And if you can make it all the way to the top of that pile, then maybe you can finally meet your maker? The doctor probably should have finished the job when he had the chance…
