Most Games Flop is a brutal life sim about growing up as a game developer on Studz, a huge online game platform full of kids, clones and gold rushes. Start at 12 with $20 and the family laptop, and try to turn making games into an actual life before school, rent, burnout and the algorithm grind you down.
Twenty years of a platform’s history
Live through 2006 to 2026 as Studz grows from a quiet site for building with bricks into a money machine. Genres boom and die, the algorithm changes what it rewards, a currency exchange turns your bux into real money, and every era has its own trends and fads. Start in 2006 for the whole story, or jump in later when competition is fiercer.
Plan your month, then live with it
Every month you split your time between school, building games, posting on socials, part-time work, commissions and rest. Skip school and your parents take your PC. Skip rest and you burn out. Skip work and the rent wins.
Make games that might matter
Pick a genre, size, features and how you make money, then build, playtest, hype and launch. Watch your players, likes and retention tell you exactly why it flopped. Push updates, make sequels, remaster old hits, design avatar items and build a fanbase that actually shows up.
You’re not the only one making games

Start the same year on the same platform as your friends, each running your own studio.
