About the GameDungeons? Not in My Contract! is an anime-style action roguelike currently in development with Unreal Engine.

Meet Naphret, a newly hired librarian. On her very first night shift, a mysterious old woman hands her a glowing book. The moment she opens it, she is pulled into the world within its pages.

What awaits her are unfamiliar worlds, each filled with its own myths, stories, and dangers she must overcome to make it home alive. Her contract clearly said “organizing books.”

Even making it back to the library offers little relief. A nagging library director and an increasingly unfair employment contract are waiting for her. Can Naphret survive her very first job?

From Storybook Encounters to Library Coworkers

The NPCs you rescue inside books join the staff of the library in the real world. Familiar faces from your adventures become coworkers, bringing new stories into Naphret’s working life. With every dangerous journey, the library grows a little livelier.

Never a Quiet Moment

Joining Naphret is Rapi, a cat who won’t stop talking—even in the middle of combat. Whether his remarks count as encouragement or nagging is anyone’s guess. Either way, Naphret can only sigh. Even when their lives are on the line, these two rarely have an ordinary conversation.

Development and ReleaseEarly Access

We are currently working toward an Early Access release in Q4 2026.

During Early Access, we plan to refine the combat and content with feedback from our players.

A free demo is scheduled to launch on October 21, 2026, Pacific Time. After playing, please let us know what you enjoyed and what could be better.
