Path to the End is an RPG that blends elements of psychological horror and comedy, inspired by games like HOLLOW KNIGHT, OMORI, PERSONA and DELTARUNE.

Ryan is an eleven-year-old boy undergoing treatment for an unknown illness. After falling into a coma, he finds himself in a world where the boundaries between reality and imagination have begun to disappear.

This strange world is shaped by Ryan’s mind, filled with familiar faces in unfamiliar forms, fantastical places, mysterious creatures, and dangers that seem to reflect something the source of said illness. Alongside a group of logical yet unexpected companions, Ryan sets out to understand what happened to this world and find a way to move forward.

From the streets of Central City to the angriness of Whisper Woods and the surreal realm of the Ink Castle, every step brings new challenges, discoveries, and questions. With battles, puzzles, exploration, and plenty of humor, Path to The End is a journey about fear, family, friendship, memory, and hope.

Sometimes, the hardest path is the one that leads forward.

The main gameplay revolves around the player and their PARTY exploring the PATHWAY, completing tasks, interacting with NPCs, solving puzzles, progressing through the story, and encountering enemies. The player can switch between PARTY MEMBERS at any time, with each character having a unique ability that can unlock new passages and assist with exploration.

Combat uses a TURN-BASED RPG system in which the player and enemies take turns acting. Both have HEALTH and SOUL gauges, while the player can ATTACK, use SKILLS, ITEMS, or FLEE. Defeated enemies reward EXPERIENCE POINTS, MONEY, and ITEMS, with Experience Points increasing ATTACK, DEFENSE, and unlocking NEW SKILLS.

There are five TYPES in battle: LIGHT, DARK, VOID, HUE, and BEAST. Each party member has a Type with different advantages and disadvantages, requiring the player to adapt their strategy. Ryan can uniquely CHANGE THE TYPE OF ANY PARTY MEMBER DURING BATTLE, giving the player greater flexibility in combat.
